Jacqueline Kennedy Interior Design Principles

Understanding the clients needs!

Design can best be described as the process by which a client and designer collaborate through the exchange of goals, concepts and ideas to provide the finished product…a “Great Design”.

Great Design captures the client’s imagination through innovative use of materials, colors, texture and lighting, together with the final touches of details, that enables people to experience a design with all their senses.

Creative uniqueness!

Creativity extends beyond the visual elements of design to include project approach, use of time, dealing with the economic constraints and construction process.

Design is simple/complex and pleasant/painful process. The methodology performed by JKD is when information is collected, analyzed, and clearly stated to provide a basis for great design, it defines the problem before a solution is attempted.

Projects are done in phases!

Each project starts with a no-charge one hour consultation, either in person or over the phone.

During this meeting we learn about the clients vision, their personality, their style and their individual lifestyle, tastes and aspirations. This is an opportunity to ensure that any concerns or issues are identified and discussed before the project begins.
